Although Wilson Brothers was established by brothers Ed and Jim Wilson in 1960, Ron and Angie Wilson are the faces behind the name today. During his high school years, Ron began his career learning the framing trade and graduated into operating his own framing company. In fact, Ed felt so strongly that knowledge of and experience in framing was key to building a solid house that successfully running framing crews was a prerequisite to building under the company name. Along the way, Ron studied each aspect of the construction process as well. To be able to build with utmost quality, he felt it was essential to have sound knowledge of how every part of a home goes together. It wasn’t long before he ventured into building homes and the second generation fully stepped in.  Tutored by his uncle, Ron added drawing and designing to his skill set. This results in an extra perk: when construction begins, he has already built the house in his head. While over the years Angie had her hand in the business here and there, she did not get fully immersed until wrapping up raising/homeschooling their four children. She discovered her love for creating custom and functional home designs. But what really energizes her is working with her clients (now friends) discovering and exchanging ideas, whether design or décor, to incorporate into the home to ensure it is uniquely them through and through. She is always shopping and researching, encouraging the clients to only choose what they truly love because a home should be a reflection of the family.

We insist on building practices that have been proven even when it’s not the easiest or most popular method. “It’s all in the details” is a precept engrained in us so spending a lot of time on the job site ensures we get your details right. We build every home like we would build our own. This is not just business to us; this is personal. We spend a lot of time working closely with our clients to bring to life what is in their heads. The result? A house isn’t the only thing we build. We build a relationship. There is no greater compliment than closing a home having gained new friends.
